PCS WEB Farm Scheduled Maintenance

The following is a list of the scheduled maintenance and upgrades to the Palmer Computer Services, Inc. Web Farm and Post Office:

February 2001

All Customers: Week of February 12th, 2001

We will be relocating our web farm to a new facility on Monday evening, February 12th, 2001. Mail and Web services will be intermittent from approximately 4:30pm to 11:00pm. All services will be fully restored by Tuesday morning 4am. All mail will be held and delivered at the conclusion of the move.

The new facility offers redundant Internet access feeds via dual OC-3 connections as well as diesel generator power backup capability and full 7x24 personnel staffing and monitoring.

Web Site Host Customers:

You may experience temporary outages while we upgrade our servers and transition various sites to new, more powerful web servers and increase our Internet bandwidth to delivery significantly faster response times.

Email Customers:

During the month of February we will be implementing a new mail server to enhance security. Each customer will be contacted directly with new mail server information as accounts are transitioned.
